 Nobody would ever dream of power being transmitted wirelessly. Well one thing for sure, if you have seen Ghost Hunters on TV, EMF or rather electro magnetic fields might boost your senses giving you tingling sensations and hallucination.
Intel did a demo on a wireless power system which could lit up a 60 watt bulb – which is very impressive by nature! It seems that its transmitting electromagnetic fields which would then be converted into power rather then transmitting electric over thin air. It’s still a long way in the future before we could realize a world without wires.
Well, at the moment, Intel just want to charge up laptop batteries with this technology rather then powering the entire world.
