Yes, Samsung has finally reached the 12.2 megapixel barrier for their compact cameras. In fact, Samsung has unveiled their latest 12.2 megapixel WB1000 camera into the market and it comes with a whole lot of goodies at a very affordable price too.
The 12.2 megapixel WB1000 comes with the following features:
24-mm wide-angle 5x zoom Schneider-KREUZNACH lens
720p video record mode in H.264 format
1/2.33-inch CCD
ISO 3200 sensitivity
Dual IS optical and digital image stabilization
3-inch 480x260 AMOLED display
