Microsoft XP Downgrade Availability Extension Info PDF Print E-mail
Friday, 19 June 2009
Apparently, Microsoft has yet again extended the deadline for the Windows XP downgrade option to a much later date. Initially, Microsoft has already made plans to phase out their XP OS by April 23rd, 2010, in order to give way for the Vista. This time, Microsoft did the unthinkable again whereby the downgrade option would be available till 2011.

I believe that since there are plenty of XP machines out in the market and the demand for the OS is still dominating the market, it’s a pretty wise move to shift the date to a much later date.

I just hope that Windows 7 won’t lag far behind and might eventually be the next operating system of the future.
