For fans of Buffalo products, you ought to know that the company has in fact released a 4-port USB hub recently, codenamed BSH4A02. What makes this particular USB hub rather awkward is the fact that it comes with switches on top of the USB ports. I believe that these switches are used to switch the USB port either on or off, depending on which port that you are using – so that you won’t accidentally plug in or out a USB device from the port, which might cause extensive damage to your hardware.
Of course, the Buffalo BSH4A02 USB Hub would be available sometime this October and it would be priced at ¥3,885 (about $40), which also includes an AC adapter for extra power.
